OdinS represents Region of Murcia at Kyiv business forum for Ukraine’s reconstruction

Odín Solutions, the Murcia-based firm specialising in technology solutions for agriculture and smart cities, travelled to Kyiv to take part in the Spain–Ukraine Business Forum held this week.

Of the 47 companies in the delegation, OdinS was the only firm from Murcia to accompany First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy, Trade and Business Carlos Cuerpo. It used the opportunity to put the technological capability developed in the region at the service of projects requiring robust, efficient and scalable solutions.

“I am increasingly convinced that the best response to a senseless war is to keep creating opportunities and strengthening ties between those who believe in freedom, cooperation and progress. Because there is something you perceive clearly when you are here: normality is the best way to combat an unjustified aggression. Every meeting, every project, every investment and every conversation between companies is a bet on the recovery and the future of Ukraine and of Europe,” said José Trigueros, CEO of OdinS, after the meeting.

The event was organised by the Secretariat of State for Trade, through ICEX Spain Export and Investment, together with the Economic and Commercial Office of the Spanish Embassy in Ukraine and the Spanish Office for the Reconstruction of Ukraine, in collaboration with the CEOE employers’ association and the Spanish Chamber of Commerce.

Trigueros thanked the team at Spain’s Economic and Commercial Office in Ukraine, the Spanish Office for the Reconstruction of Ukraine, ICEX and Minister Carlos Cuerpo for their institutional backing, as well as the Ukrainian authorities for their willingness to boost cooperation between the two countries at such a decisive moment.

OdinS has several projects underway: it has just received a grant from the CDTI to tackle drought and water scarcity with new technologies, and it is one of the main drivers behind the chip centre to be built in Murcia.
