1. DATA PROTECTION FRAMEWORK
The Institute of Development of the Region of Murcia (hereinafter, INFO) is especially sensitive to the protection of personal data. Therefore, it has adapted its entire structure to comply with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of personal data (GDPR), as well as Organic Law 3/2018, of December 5, on the Protection of Personal Data and Guarantee of Digital Rights.
Interested parties whose data are processed by INFO (hereinafter, “Users”) are informed that if they contact INFO to request information, advice, training, or other activities typical of the institution, the data provided will only be processed to manage the response to said communication. The information will never be processed for a purpose other than that for which it was collected.
The User declares that all data provided are true and correct and undertakes to keep them updated, communicating any changes to INFO. INFO does not sell, transfer, assign, or make Users’ data available to third parties without prior express consent or in compliance with a legal duty.

3. PURPOSES OF PROCESSING
The processing of the personal data provided will depend on the data collection form used by the User. Data will be treated for the purposes indicated therein, which include:
- Purpose 1: Manage the provision of information services, pre-appointments, documentation processing, advice, guidance, training, and support for business financing (telematically, in person, or by phone).
- Purpose 2: Manage public calls for participation in awards and competitions.
- Purpose 3: Organize special business-related events aimed at companies and entrepreneurs, including technological cooperation meetings.
- Purpose 4: Manage the processing of subsidies, grants, and financing to boost project development, innovation, or export, through internal lines or other agencies.
- Purpose 5: Coordinate technology centers to promote knowledge transfer from scientific to productive environments.
- Purpose 6: Send information to interested parties regarding events and services related to INFO, provided they consent to such communications.
- Purpose 7: Manage the training offer of conferences and workshops for companies or entrepreneurs.
- Purpose 8: Development of technological projects aimed at establishing competitive improvements through the effective introduction of digital technologies.
- Purpose 9: Manage access and use of INFO’s various web portals.
- Purpose 10: Statistical analysis of website visits.
- Purpose 11: CCTV for surveillance and security purposes.
4. LAWFULNESS OF PROCESSING
The processing of personal data is legitimized by the User’s consent, which can be revoked at any time without affecting the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent prior to its withdrawal (by emailing: protecciondatosINFO@info.carm.es).
Processing may also be legitimized for the fulfillment of a legal duty or mission carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of public powers conferred to the Controller, as set forth in Law 9/2006, of November 23, of the Institute of Development of the Region of Murcia. Failure to provide necessary information will result in the inability to carry out the requested service.
As a general rule, data will only be transferred to public or private entities with which INFO is required to share information to provide the requested service. No automated decisions or international transfers are made, although data may be shared with third countries outside the EU/EEA depending on the specific services requested.
5. EXERCISE OF USER RIGHTS
To exercise the rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction, and portability (as well as not being subject to decisions based solely on automated processing), Users may contact INFO via email: protecciondatosINFO@info.carm.es
A valid identification document must be provided. Users may also file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) if they consider their request has not been properly addressed.
